Estudo comprovou os efeitos da suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o com probi\u00f3ticos na prote\u00e7\u00e3o solar<\/em><\/p>\n

Um estudo cl\u00ednico realizado em 2009 avaliou os efeitos da suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o com o probi\u00f3tico Lactobacillus johnsonii <\/em>na pele ap\u00f3s exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 radia\u00e7\u00e3o solar. 54 volunt\u00e1rios foram randomizados em dois grupos: o primeiro recebeu, durante oito semanas, uma dose di\u00e1ria de L. johnsonii<\/em> antes da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 radia\u00e7\u00e3o ultravioleta; o segundo grupo recebeu placebo, durante o mesmo per\u00edodo e tamb\u00e9m antes da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 radia\u00e7\u00e3o ultravioleta.<\/p>\n

Os resultados observados foram surpreendentes. A suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o com probi\u00f3ticos promoveu significativa regula\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema imune intestinal, promovendo um equil\u00edbrio do sistema imune da pele, demonstrado atrav\u00e9s da modula\u00e7\u00e3o das c\u00e9lulas linfocit\u00e1rias epidermais mistas (MECLR), o que \u00e9 importante para a fotoprote\u00e7\u00e3o cut\u00e2nea. Houve tamb\u00e9m um aumento dos n\u00edveis de IgA no intestino delgado, junto com um maior n\u00famero de c\u00e9lulas dendr\u00edticas (gl\u00f3bulos brancos que protegem o corpo de micr\u00f3bios invasores) na pele.<\/p>\n

Tais resultados fortalecem a hip\u00f3tese de que certos probi\u00f3ticos podem, sim, contribuir para modular o sistema imunol\u00f3gico cut\u00e2neo preservando a sua homeostase, processo pelo qual nosso organismo mant\u00e9m constantes as condi\u00e7\u00f5es internas necess\u00e1rias para a vida. Dessa maneira, os probi\u00f3ticos podem ser utilizados para tratar e prevenir os efeitos cut\u00e2neos oriundos da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 radia\u00e7\u00e3o UV.<\/p>\n
